VERY ALARMING NEWS. EUROPEAN SKATERS YOU NEED TO SUPPORT.
Dear teams,
the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inline Skating is approaching and our preparations have begun.
Unfortunately we are currently struggling to keep this event alive. Since the beginning of the registration the number of participants is significantly below the level of last year. Additionally we have noted a steady decline of entries over the previous years. At the moment it is unsure, if there will be a marathon for inline skaters in 2015. This decision depends on how the registrations develop this year.

To reverse the trend, we need your support and we would be very pleased if you could mobilise some additional skaters via your channels and contacts. No one else can spread the word better than you about the unique atmosphere at the world’s biggest inline skating marathon. Thank you!

Please find below all facts for your team registration. Teams that are registered via the GIC do not have to register anymore! If necessary, please have a look at the participants list. Don’t hesitate to ask if you need any further information.

Registration for top teams
- registration fee per skater is 68,- EUR p.p.
- 1 free start per team (only complete teams, 5 men/4 women)
- the registration sheet is attached to this mail
- deadline for registration will be on August 8!

Hotel (September, 26-28)
- 2 free double rooms per complete team at our (new) partner hotel Holiday Inn Berlin - City East Side
- please let us know the names asap
